Podium Classic Results Roundup
Posted on: March 14, 2026 by Ian Boyle Share this postIt’s been some weekend for Lincoln Wellington, with superb performances across multiple race events in the last 24 hours alone. One of which was Podium Classic, held at the Leicester College Cycle Track.
5 x 1km loops awaited our athletes today, where in previous years, success has been frequent for Lincoln Wellington. The sun made an appearance, yet so did the wind, and 4 Welly’s battled conditions across the 5km course.
@judebroadbent2 went in Race 1 – securing a 20:28 time in a mixed-gender field. Alongside her was Natasha McBride, finishing with an 18:54.
@_jackfoot was next in Race 2, setting a 16:44 setting his best 5k time on the road since 2023 at Mallory Park Circuit.
@willrs12 made the decision to “roll the dice and see what happens” after telling us he “wasn’t in 5k shape”, before setting a new PB by 19 seconds, which also doubles as a new V35M 5k road club record in the Elite Men’s field!
Finally, in the Elite Women’s field, fresh off the back of multiple PBs and club records (and now more again!), @charliehan1 goes sub-17 and destroys that marker with a 16:39 banishment of her previous PB, which stood at 17:08, taking a sensational 29 seconds from her previous best!
