24th in the World for India at the FISU World University Championship Cross Country
Posted on: March 15, 2026 by Ian Boyle Share this postIndia was on the start list for Podium 5k Classic today in Leicester, but having been called up to represent her country at the @fisu_crosscountry her plane was booked for Cassino, Italy.
She competed in the women’s short course (3k), and finished as 2nd Brit, 24th overall, with the potential to still race the relay tomorrow for GB.
Another fabulous piece of news to bring you from the club, which continues to come in thick and fast, with India doing herself very proud. Lincoln Wellington is proud of her achievements, and we are one proud club, too!
