Podium Classic Returns to Leicester

Over the years we’ve seen Welly’s smash personal beats and mix it with the very best on this cycle track circuit at Leicester College. 2 years ago, Abbie Donnelly clocked the 2nd fastest UK 5k road time of the year with a 15:18, finishing as 1st Brit. She was closely followed by Sophie Wallis (Bowser), and India Barwell. Jordan Skelly ran the men’s elite race.

Last year saw an excellent turn out from LWAC, including Rochelle Harrison, Will Bloom, Jack Foot, James Straw, India Barwell, Henry Samkin, Zak Houghton, amongst others.

This year sees Charlie Thornton and India Barwell line up in the women’s elite fields, hoping to put on a show and take in the amazing atmosphere and record a new PB!
