✨ A Huge Thank You From Lincoln Wellington Athletic Club ✨

We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Liz, Mike, and the team at Advance Balance Physiotherapy & Structural Bodywork (@advance_balance_ ) for their incredible support in securing our club a new high jump mat cover.

This piece of equipment is absolutely crucial for the long-term sustainability, safety, and compliance of our club – and, as many will appreciate, it comes with a significant financial cost.

As a volunteer-led club, balancing fundraising, compliance, and longevity can be challenging, which makes support like this all the more meaningful. All this before even stepping onto a track, cage, or circle.

Thanks to generous contributions and community backing, we’re ensuring athletes of all ages can continue to train and compete safely for years to come at Lincoln Wellington Athletic Club.

Liz & Mike had this to say: “It’s our absolute pleasure. We aren’t able to contribute in the way Terry, Denise, and the rest of the LWAC team do, and have done for many years, but we are so happy to be able to help in this way.

The fact that Denise and Terry coached Liz (not that long ago!) and are now coaching our boys speaks volumes to their amazing energy, care and commitment.

We are required to stay within legal parameters for equipment (plus much more) in order to be able to host meetings and competitions at our club (and of course, for the safety of those using the equipment), and truly hope we can continue to do so.
