India Debuts for Team GB U20
Posted on: February 11, 2026 by Ian Boyle Share this postWe apologise for the delay in this report! The @crosscountrylagoa2025 saw @indiabarwell debut for @teamgb at the European Cross Country Championships 2025 in Lagoa, Portugal.
Having moved from Roy Freeman’s middle distance track group to endurance with Rob Lewis, India has continued to flourish, and has since transitioned well into @lboroathletics
She has already represented @englandathletics on multiple occasions and regularly finished in the higher places as an U20W, as well as in senior races, clocking 16:09 at @podium5k in Leicester a season and a half ago, as well as runner-up at Dublin International XC for the last two years in a row.
India finished 22nd in Europe in this one, completing the course in 21:20, a brilliant performance for the country on her debut!
