Great News FOUR LWAC Athletes were invited to the UK Athletics Championships, Manchester on 8th and 9th July 2023.

Fine runs by all and big congratulations to Abbie Donnelly who competed in the 5,000m and ran herself into the Bronze Medal position, in a time of 16.04.08.

Georgina Adam returning from injury gained automatic qualification into the final by finishing 2^nd in her heat and going on to finish in a very creditable 5^th place in the final with 23.08s.

Callum Winchester-Wright leading the way in the men’s 100m in his first race back from injury ran a PB be it a windy one in the 100 with a 10.61s.

Kaesi Opara narrowly missing a place in the semi final of the 100m with a very close finish in 10.59s.
