Faith Represents Team North

Posted on: February 22, 2026 by Ian Boyle Share this post
Just how good is @_faithtaylor4 over cross-country? A fortnight ago, Faith was selected to represent the North of England (@northernathletics ) team at the @britishathletics London Cross Challenge, held at Parliament Hill.
The Lincolnshire, and Anglian XC champ, and National XC Championships runner-up put on a sterling performance as she finished 5th in the U20 race.
Part of the UK Cross Challenge Series, including the Home Countries International, this course is described as a “mudfest” – something Faith knows all too well from her 2nd place finish at The National last year.
The event also had teams made up of the best talent from the midlands and south, as well as club-represented runners, making it a very competitive fixture in with a talented field of athletes.
Faith is going from strength to strength after a fabulous 2024 & 2025, being a part of the U17W relay team that dominated on the roads and the grass, where she produced the fastest leg on the day of all competitors. Now in the U20W category, we look forward to seeing her progress through the age group and continue enjoying her running.
Well done, Faith Taylor!
