Tyler took on @fridaynights5k on Friday 13th March, in the Open B race, finishing 8th overall (1st U20M), in a staggering 14:48.7!
This time wouldn’t have been out of place in the elite race that happened the same evening.
The triathlete and Loughborough student takes the record from @samatkin_ who ran 14:58 in Beverley back in 2010. It maybe wasn’t the best birthday present for Sam to wake up to, having his club record broken, but a deserving one for Tyler who wants to take even more off this with a couple more years left in the age group yet.
