Posted on: February 25, 2026 by Ian Boyle Share this postCongratulations to Natalie Burns for another club record, set at last year’s @brassmonkeyhalfmarathon – beating her own previous club record in the V40W half marathon.
Natalie recorded an 80:41 finishing as first female in this event, demonstrating her strength across multiple distances, having posted tremendous marathon times, as well as recording some blistering 1500m times last season, seeing her take the British Masters title in doing so.
This race left Natalie in 26th place in the UK at the close of 2025 for the V40W HM, with many other Welly athletes in the running for top spots too, including Rebecca Cole, who also placed inside the UK top 50.
She ended the year with a strong performance in the @erraenglishroadrunning National Road Relays, starting as the leader after the fastest leg of the day from Abbie Donnelly, before handing off to Faith Taylor to anchor the team home.
