Ellarose Back With a Bang

The 17-year-old raced for only the second time since November yesterday at the Bannister Mile meeting in Oxford, in the U18W race, named “The Frank Horwill Mile”.
She showed she still has the speed and determination to win races, and finished in 4:52.12, pushing hard to the line to secure gold.
That result places Ellarose inside the Women’s Top 50 UK rankings of even the senior age group in 2026 so far.
