2025 Awards Evening
Posted on: February 12, 2026 by Ian Boyle Share this post31st January saw LWAC come together for our annual awards evening at @rustonsportsandbar to celebrate the year, our members, coaches, officials, volunteers, and share the success of everyone within the club.
With a max-capacity turn out, a great night was had by all, showcasing the great work you all do within our amazing club, with those ranging from 7 years old and upwards in attendance to be celebrated, all the way through to those still perform and breaking records in the 85+ category.
We were extremely proud to be able to host a special guest for the evening, Simon Walters, Directorate for Communities & Environment at City of Lincoln Council, who so incredibly supported our club in getting access back to the track so promptly and smoothly last year. Simon took to the stage to present a number of awards on the evening, and is already looking forward to joining us again next year.
Speaking of next year, we have some fantastic plans for this event, to make it even bigger and better, and we will notify you later in the year of what these will be.
