What a Week for Lightning Squad

Well, Isla & Ellarose kick started this with their first day on the programme at Loughborough University. Their day included lots of insights as to what to expect on the programme, some educational aspects, and of course, training and performance-related ones too.

Mollie was unable to attend this first day, and with good reason, as the Adidas athlete was also selected to join @thommo26.2 elite training camp in St. Moritz, Switzerland, courtesy of @on – where there are 4 other British athletes and 10 European rising stars.

This ten days training camp including various activities provides middle & long distance young talents from different countries in Europe access to a professional training environment. The program gives athletes aged 15 to 18 a firsthand experience of what it is like to be a professional athlete.
