Mollie Wins SIAB T&F For Second Year Running!

The 2025 SIAB (Schools International Athletics Board) Track and Field event was held at Moorways Stadium, Derby on Saturday, July 19, 2025, where athletes from England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland competed. The event serves as a significant international competition for school-aged athletes, with only the top performing youngsters from ESAA T&F Championships being represented to compete for @officialteamengland against the other home nations.
Having won the intermediate girls 800m title at English Schools the week prior, @mollie.grant27 automatically qualified to represent England at SIAB. Much like the week earlier, she also crafted her race well to win in great fashion, doing what she needed to do and bringing home the gold in 2:07.90, much like she did last year to retain her UK schools title.
The Adidas sponsored athlete has been on the verge of European qualification, as well as posting strong results across the 400m and 1500m this season, as well as continually breaking her own U17W 800m club and county records (more on all of this soon).
