I have been a member for just under a year, I have thoroughly enjoyed the short time I have been here. All my coaches are fantastic, I greatly appreciate their efforts helping me improve.
After a lot of thought on this, I’ve come to the decision that I won’t be coming back to the club this year.
I’ve loved being at the club and it’s been a part of my life for a long time now, so it wasn’t an easy decision. I think my place will be of better use to someone who regularly attends, but I hope to continue running as a hobby in my spare time still (whilst at Uni).
I also wanted to say a big thank you to you and everyone in the club for making it what it is, without all the volunteers we wouldn’t have the successful and caring community that makes up LWAC, so thank you!
I wish the club all the best for the future, and I’ll always remember it fondly.
This was a hard decision as we have greatly enjoyed our years with Wellington. I just wanted to thank you and all the team for the support, advice and encouragement you have all given us over the years. It is greatly appreciated by me. It feels like a big end of an era. Hopefully we will continue with running at university and throughout our lives. I’m sure we will look back at her time with your club with very fond memories.
